I got a recipe for you guys, except for it's a secret family recipe. So, the deal is that I will tell you but you have to keep it a secret! ;)
First you need Tabasco Chili Starter, Spicy & Original. We can only find these at Hy-Vee.
You then need Red Beans, Kidney Beans & Black Beans.
You need a husband to cook up the meat for you!!!
All Cooked Up!
These are a definite must, we made Chili one time without these liners & I'm pretty sure it took a few hours just to clean the crock pot. We won't make anything in the crock pot without these now.
Then, we decided to make corn bread to go along with our chili & we had to have Trader Joe's cornbread. So Delicious!
It even has real corn pieces in it! Yum!
We let the chili cook in the crock pot while I went & taught my zumba class & my husband went on a hike. Got home & voila, dinner is cooked. Love crock pots.
Mmmm Corn bread.
Young's Chili
2 lbs ground beef, browned & drained. (we use deer meat, but you can definitely use beef)
2 cans each of Kidney Beans, Red Beans & Black Beans (with the juice)
1 jar each of spicy & original Tabasco chili seasoning
Mix all ingredients together & cook on low in a crock pot for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
This is actually a double batch, but we make it & freeze the rest. This recipe makes 10 BIG bowls. There is 155 calories per cup (made with deer meat).
Don't forget that I have a giveaway going on. Follow my blog, like my facebook page & comment on my blog & you will be entered to win an infinity scarf & crochet hook. Remember it won't make you actually comment or follow my blog, but I will delete your entry if you don't do those things! Good luck to all of you! :)
